🚨🚨 BREAKING NEWS🚨🚨Hackers targeted Axie Infinity co-founder Jeff "Jihoz" Zirlin, stealing $9.7 million worth of Axs Tokens from his personal wallets, using Tornado Cash to launder the funds. Blockchain security firm PeckShield disclosed the breach, which involved 3248 ETH. Although Zirlin confirmed the hack, he asserted that it didn't stem from vulnerabilities within Sky Mavis or the Ronin Chain. PeckShield found that the stolen funds were split into three wallets and funneled through Tornado Cash for anonymity. Similar incidents have affected other crypto personalities, like Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen, whose stolen funds were partially frozen by Binance. Larsen's attackers didn't use crypto mixer services, allowing Binance to track and freeze a portion of the stolen assets.
