According to Odaily, the Base blockchain has reached new milestones in transaction volume and active addresses. On July 15, Base recorded 3.28 million transactions. By the end of the week on July 19, this number had risen to 3.52 million, averaging a daily increase of approximately 1.8%. Alongside the surge in transactions, the number of active addresses on Base also hit a record high. Active addresses grew from 567,000 on July 15 to nearly 650,000 by July 19, with an average daily growth rate of about 3.5% during the same period.

In addition to these increases, Base experienced a significant rise in fees. On July 20, the blockchain collected $177,000 in fees, marking the highest single-day total in over a month. Despite these achievements, Base's total value locked (TVL) remains behind that of Arbitrum. As of the latest data, Base's TVL stands at $1.77 billion, while Arbitrum's TVL is $3.25 billion.
