According to Odaily, Bitcoin miner Bitfarms has reiterated that Riot Platforms' acquisition proposal does not align with the best interests of its shareholders. Following this announcement, the company revealed plans to develop its first large-scale mining site in Pennsylvania, USA. This move is expected to significantly enhance Bitfarms' overall power supply capacity.

The company anticipates that by 2025, its power capacity will increase to 648 megawatts, a 170% growth from its current capacity and a 47% increase from its target capacity at the end of 2024. Bitfarms stated, 'This site can support 8 EH/s, and with the additional 100 MW we recently acquired in Paraguay, we expect our computing power to exceed 35 EH/s by 2025.'
