XRP is a cryptocurrency that trades on a public,
permissionless blockchain. Anyone can run a server or validator and participate in the network and submit transactions. No XRP Ledger transaction has even been censored, suppressed, or discriminated against and the ledger’s design makes this much more difficult than it is on other blockchains. The XRP Ledger’s rules are enforced by all participants and they can only be changed by participants who choose to run code with different rules.
