According to Foresight News, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin emphasized the need for better prioritization in Ethereum's core development. Buterin stated that if he had to choose between increasing the blob target from 3 to 6 and other developments in Pectra, he would prioritize the former. He questioned the equivalents of Fusaka and G*, suggesting that blobs are a significant part of the answer. However, he also highlighted the importance of Layer 1 EVM improvements, expressing a preference for EOF through 7701 and the complete AA with SIMD+EVMMAX, along with a moderate increase in gas limits. Buterin mentioned ongoing work on peerdas and suggested exploring more ambitious versions of peerdas.
