The State of Forkonomics With V2, Liquity introduces a new bootstrapping primitive - Forkonomics. Leveraging the popularity of V1's codebase, V2 introduced the concept of "friendly forks." These forks develop their protocols using the V2 codebase and, in return, offer incentives to Liquity users. Liquity's Earn product DeFi's answer to the reliance on U.S. T-Bills. T-Bills are considered the backbone of global finance, offering a risk-free rate backed by the U.S. government. DeFi lacks an on-chain asset that mirrors the stability and security of T-Bills.
