US DOJ Silk Road Seizure Moves...Approximately 20,000 BTC
On-chain tracking platform Synoptic reports via X that "19,799.99 BTC (valued at $19.2 million) has been moved from an alleged US Department of Justice address (starting with bc1qn) that seized Bitcoin from the dark web Silk Road." The address to which the funds were transferred is an anonymous address (starting with bc1q0). "The US Department of Justice's estimated address currently holds 188,309 BTC ($182.4 million)," blockchain analytics firm LookOnChain explained.
