Cathie Wood's ARK Invest has scooped up 1.1 million shares of crypto-friendly app Robinhood for about $9.5 million in a single day. The purchase involved three of ARK's innovation ETFs, with ARKK allocating the largest amount of shares. This comes as Robinhood announces plans to expand into Europe, particularly the UK, despite its stock plunging over 14% after reporting worse-than-expected results. Meanwhile, ARK continues to sell Grayscale Bitcoin Trust shares, having sold a total of 427,573 GBTC shares since late October. The firm is also set to launch new ETFs focused on Bitcoin and Ether futures contracts in collaboration with 21Shares.
