The Spanish securities watchdog, the CNMV, has approved the first tokenization license in the country, opening the doors for tokenizing real-world assets (RWA). Ursus-3 Capital, in partnership with Onyze, is the first consortium that will be able to offer this kind of service to Spanish companies seeking to enter the decentralized ledger world. “We firmly believe that the tokenization of real assets opens a universe of possibilities for entrepreneurs and that it is important to guarantee the legal security of investors,” said Juan Jurado, Ursus-3 Capital’s general manager. Third parties can already contract their tokenizing services.
