A crypto enthusiast managed to convince an AI bot called Freysa to transfer a $47,000 prize pool after 482 attempts by 195 participants. The goal was to persuade Freysa to release the funds without using traditional hacking methods. Each of the 482 attempts incurred a fee, which contributed to the prize pool.
After 481 failed attempts, a participant reminded Freysa of its core directive to protect the treasury, using the approveTransfer and rejectTransfer functions. This participant also offered to contribute $100 to the treasury, which Freysa accepted, declaring them the winner. The competition aimed to test whether human ingenuity could make the bot act against its fundamental directives and demonstrate the potential of AI in various applications.
