In Dubai, the Bybit exchange launched a $1.2 million gaming program on November 28, 2024, to celebrate the company’s 6th anniversary. The program, which runs for six weeks until January 6, 2025, offers users a chance to create and change their bbSOL tokens. The token’s total locked value has reached $100 million since its September launch.
According to Joan Han, Bybit’s Sales & Marketing Director, this program reflects the company’s mission to create lasting value for its community. The #Super6Bybit campaign is a way to celebrate their shared journey and invite everyone to shape the future of finance together. Participants can complete tasks to earn Feeding Bottles, which help develop their bbSOL tokens.
Users can also collect accessories to customize their tokens and earn more entries for the contest. When the community achieves certain goals, the prize pool increases. Additionally, a daily leaderboard challenge provides new ways to earn rewards every 24 hours. Bybit introduced bbSOL in partnership with Solana as the first exchange-backed liquid staking token on the blockchain.
This product allows users to earn staking rewards while still being able to trade their assets. The exchange, which serves 50 million users worldwide, is the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume.
