Binance Blog published a new article, highlighting Binance TH's recent achievement of earning the ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications. This accomplishment underscores the platform's commitment to maintaining high international standards in security and privacy, thereby fostering trust and confidence in Thailand's digital-asset space.

Binance TH, a joint venture between Binance’s subsidiary and Gulf Edge Co. Ltd., has been awarded these prestigious certifications by the British Standards Institution (BSI). The ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications are globally recognized benchmarks for information security governance and privacy information management. These certifications were granted following comprehensive audits of Binance TH's security and privacy controls, policies, and procedures. This recognition solidifies Binance TH’s status as Thailand’s leading digital-asset trading platform.

Jimmy Su, Binance's Chief Security Officer, noted that information security governance is essential for sustainable growth in the blockchain and digital-asset sectors. He highlighted Binance's support for the Thai joint venture by providing best-in-class technology and proven solutions, ensuring user protection in line with global standards.

Nirun Fuwattananukul, CEO of Gulf Binance Co., Ltd., emphasized that these certifications reflect the company's dedication to security and integrity, ensuring that Binance TH remains a reliable and trustworthy platform for users and the broader blockchain ecosystem. He reiterated the company's commitment to upholding the highest standards in all operational aspects, which is crucial for inspiring trust in the digital-asset space.

The achievement of these certifications was made possible by the efforts of the local Binance TH team, with ongoing support from Binance’s Security Governance team. Binance has driven similar accomplishments in other jurisdictions, including France, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Kazakhstan. Like these entities, Binance TH will undergo annual surveillance audits to maintain compliance with the ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 standards.
