According to Foresight News, BitGo, a digital asset custody company, has announced that its South Korean subsidiary, BitGo Korea, has brought in Hana Financial Group and SK Telecom as strategic investors. Hana Financial Group has acquired a 25% stake in BitGo Korea, while SK Telecom has obtained a 10% stake. BitGo currently manages approximately $70 billion in assets and has processed around $3 trillion in assets to date. BitGo Korea is in the process of applying for ISMS certification and VASP qualification. Through this collaboration, Hana Financial Group aims to enhance user protection, while SK Telecom plans to integrate its authentication and security technologies with BitGo's services.
