Durov will be released in a few days — Russian lawyer and Pavel's legal aid Alexander Dobrovinsky's forecast.

It will be difficult for French law enforcement officers to charge the co-founder of the Telegram messenger Pavel Durov, who was detained the day before upon arrival in Paris, and he may be released in a few days, says lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky.

"I think that Durov will be released in two days. It is difficult to make claims to a person whose corporation has established its own private rules and acts on them," he told TASS.

Dobrovinsky clarified that if there had been a court decision in France, and Telegram would not have reacted to it, then Durov could have been charged, but there was no such court decision.

"There are only suspicions that he writes something somewhere that they don't like," he said.

The lawyer is sure that Durov was lured to France and is trying to take him on fright.

"If Durov does not give up and does not cooperate with the law enforcement officers of the Fifth Republic, Telegram's shares and prestige will skyrocket," Dobrovinsky said.

Though it's too early to celebrate, it's nothing less than a moral victory ✌🏼
