U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump has unveiled a new DeFi project that has been generating buzz for some time. Trump urged his followers to join the project's Telegram channel, although specific details about the initiative remain undisclosed.
Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to encourage his 7.5 million followers to join the Telegram channel titled 'The DeFiant Ones'. In a post from Trump's official account, he stated, “For too long, Americans have been cornered by big banks and financial elites.
It’s time to stand together and resist.” Additionally, a message shared on the Telegram channel emphasized that it is the only official channel for the Trump DeFi project. The post read, “We are thrilled to welcome you to our growing community. Please note that this is the only official channel for our project. Stay vigilant and beware of scammers. Our team will never initiate the first message.” The channel also mentioned that significant updates and announcements would be made there in the coming days.
While Trump has not yet addressed the project on X, he continues to direct his followers on Truth Social to the Telegram channel. However, his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, have both invited their followers on X to join the same channel.
