Trump's campaign headquarters reports hacking of its internal communications network, blaming Iran
The agency writes that the Trump campaign did not provide direct evidence, but referred to his conflict with Tehran since the presidency.
The statement from the campaign came after Politico reported that it had obtained internal communications emails from a senior Trump campaign official and a research dossier compiled by the campaign on Trump's running mate, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance.
Later, a new Microsoft report revealed that Iranian hackers had hacked the account of a "senior official" of the US presidential campaign in June 2024.
