From ambassador to business development lead, Thiago’s journey impact as been significant to the Moonbeam ecosystem!

Thiago has been a stalwart of the Moonbeam ecosystem since its inception. Starting out as an ambassador, he took charge of the protocol's YouTube channel, where he interviewed various key figures within the community. His dedication and knack for storytelling soon led to a promotion, where he took the reins as the head of ambassadors. It was Thiago who saw the untapped potential in Brazil and convinced the Moonbeam core team to start building and focusing on the Portuguese-speaking population.

Brazil, a nation of over 217 million, is a hub of opportunity and innovation.

Every morning starts with a visit to a cool coffee shop nearby. Then, it’s off to meet innovators like Carbify, talking about their green NFTs over a cold beer.

Thiago’s connection to Rio is organic and unmistakable. He might start and end his day on Zoom calls with grantees and potential partners, but his dedication to building Moonbeam’s Brazil pillar is organic and driven by his passion for builders. On a typical day, Thiago begins with a strong cup of Portuguese coffee at his favorite local café, a routine that grounds him in the rhythm of the city.

Taking calls amongst Rio’s lush parks and beachfronts, Thiago is always connecting the dots.

Right in front of the beach, there are 'futevolei' classes—like volleyball, but without using your hands—that he plans to start next month. Also, this route is where he drops his daughter off at her school, which is located atop the mountain crowned by the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue.
