According to PANews, Web3.0 security firm CertiK has released its latest report titled 'Hack3d: 2024 Annual Security Report.' The report highlights that the Web3.0 sector experienced total losses exceeding $2.36 billion due to security incidents in 2024, marking a 31.61% increase compared to the previous year. Throughout the year, 760 security incidents were recorded, with phishing and private key leaks identified as the primary attack methods. Phishing attacks alone accounted for $1.05 billion in losses, representing nearly 50% of the total annual losses, making it the most significant threat to industry security.
