About Veritaseum (VERI)
Veritaseum is a decentralized blockchain-based software protocol that enables individuals to connect to peer-to-peer finance marketplaces online. The fundamental aim of the Veritaseum protocol is to give anyone with working internet access to capital markets that operate independently of banks and third-party intermediaries.
Veritaseum was founded in 2013 by American entrepreneur Reggie Middleton. It took several years to develop the software, which was launched, along with the native network cryptocurrency, in June 2017. Veritaseum runs along the Ethereum blockchain network and is secured by the measures put into place for blockchain security and efficiency by Ethereum.
Being an ERC-20 token, Veritaseum crypto is interchangeable directly with other Ethereum network-based digital currencies and is validated through a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism since the Ethereum Merge.
The native Veritaseum cryptocurrency is known by its token ticker $VERI. The live price of Veritaseum is updated and available in real-time on Binance.
