What is KASPA (KAS)?

KASPA (KAS) is a decentralized, open-source cryptocurrency designed to offer fast, secure, and scalable transactions. Launched in November 2021, it is the world's fastest, fully scalable Layer-1 blockchain, utilizing Proof of Work (PoW) and a unique blockDAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) architecture. This allows for high throughput and low confirmation times, making it suitable for various applications.

Kaspa adheres to community-based governance with no pre-mining or pre-sale campaigns; all tokens are exclusively obtainable through mining. The total supply of KAS is capped at 28.7 billion, with a current block time of one second.

The mining algorithm for Kaspa is kHeavyHash.

KASPA miners will receive KAS income according to the PPLNS mining method. Mining fees for the KASPA (KAS) mining pool are set at 1%.

How to mine KAS?

1. Binance Pool account registration

1.1 Visit the official Binance Pool website and register for a Binance Pool account to create a mining account. You may also create multiple sub-mining accounts to suit your needs. For more details, please refer to What Is Binance Mining Account and How to Create It?.

1.2 After successfully creating a mining account. Go to [Settings].

Choose the Mining Account, click [More Settings] - [Add KAS Address].

Please note:

  • Before adding or changing your address, please confirm whether the address you are using has the required minimum deposit amount to avoid unnecessary losses.

2. Mining configuration setup

2.1 Configure Stratum URL

Stratum+tcp://kas.poolbinance.com

Supported ports: 443 / 1800 / 3333 / 8888

2.2 Create a worker name and password

Create a worker name ("MiningAccount.Worker") and set up a password. Worker names can be numbers or a combination of numbers and letters.

For example, if your mining account name is MiningKAS, your worker name could be "MiningKAS.001". Password is optional.

2.3 Mining configuration

Take Antminer as an example. Log in to your Antminer and click [Miner Configuration]. Enter your details and click [Save & Apply] to finish the setup. To ensure stable mining, we recommend setting multiple ports. When one port fails to connect, the miner will automatically switch to the next and continue mining.

3. Check hashrates

After your miner is up and running, you can view the performance statistics in approximately 10 minutes. Go to [Workers] to view the active hashrate.

4. Check earnings

The settlement cycle calculates from 00:00 of the previous day to 00:00 of the current day (UTC). The mining pool payment occurs between 02:00 to 10:00 (UTC) every day.

After the settlement is completed, your mining income will be credited to the Wallet you linked to your mining account. You can check the daily income records by going to [Earnings], or [Overview] - [Main Account Bill].

Please note:

  • Your earnings will remain in the balance if the minimum payout threshold has not been reached, or if the payout address has not been set up.
  • Minimum KAS payout threshold is 100 KAS.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why do I need to set up multiple ports?

We recommend configuring multiple ports to ensure a stable and sustainable mining process. If one port becomes inactive, the miner will automatically switch to the next available port to continue mining.

2. My miner is already running, but the mining pool is showing “inactive miner”.

The miner status will become active after it keeps running for approximately 10 - 20 minutes. If you see an “inactive” status, please check the miner’s settings. If the issue persists, please contact Binance Support.
