El repunte de las acciones de Pakistán atrae a inversores extranjeros en medio de señales de estabilidad
Según Yahoo News, el mercado de valores de Pakistán está experimentando un aumento de la inversión extranjera a medida que surgen signos de estabilidad. El índice KSE-100 ha experimentado un aumento del 50% desde finales de junio, lo que lo convierte en el segundo mejor mercado del mundo durante ese período, sólo detrás de Argentina. Esto ha llamado la atención de los comerciantes extranjeros, que compraron acciones paquistaníes por valor de 26,3 millones de dólares en noviembre, potencialmente el total mensual más alto en más de cuatro años.
Pakistán se está preparando para las elecciones nacionales de febrero y el país logró evitar el impago al conseguir un acuerdo de préstamo con el Fondo Monetario Internacional en julio. Además, la inflación ha mostrado signos de enfriamiento, lo que ha permitido al banco central cierta flexibilidad después de aumentar las tasas de interés en los últimos dos años. Los inversores extranjeros ahora están tomando nota de la disminución de la incertidumbre política y económica en el país.
