A hacker attacked users of the decentralized exchange Equalizer.

On May 14th, a criminal began draining funds from traders on the decentralized exchange (DEX) Equalizer. The perpetrator stole 2353 EQUAL (~$20,000) and several other tokens.

The project team recommended not interacting with the site's frontend until the investigation is complete.

The incident began early in the morning with the leakage of 2500 SpookySwap (spLP) liquidity tokens. The victim also lost other assets.

The hacker's address appeared on the network 222 days ago. Among the stolen coins:

- 2353 Equalizer (EQUAL)

- 510,579 FantomStarter (FS)

- 2,500 spLP

- 6 million AnyInu (AI)

- 985,565 ChillPill (CHILL)

- 50,000 WigoSwap (WIGO)

- 25 multiDEUS (DEUS)

The overall damage is relatively small, estimated at several tens of thousands of dollars. However, funds from DEX users continue to flow to the hacker.

Simultaneously, the perpetrator created a fake Equalizer account on X, offering compensation.
