Considering no competition when it comes to Bitcoin Restaking we can only study Ethereum Restaking projects, mainly their marketcap and come up with a price equivalent for $BB.
I got 2 protocols in mind, Renzo and Etherfi.
REZ $1.4 billion fully diluted market cap and ETHFI $3.7 billion fully diluted market cap.
BB comes with a total supply of 2.1 billion tokens. At REZ marketcap the price for one BB will be 1.4 / 2.1 = $0.66
At ETHFI marketcap we’re talking about 3.7 / 2.1 = $1.76 for one $BB.
Considering current market conditions I would go with the conservative approach and expect a ‘fair price’ for one $BB of around 66 cents.
