1️⃣ Offchain Labs: On April 25th, developers of the #Optimism L2 solution addressed two serious vulnerabilities in the fraud protection mechanism deployed on the testnet. 🔒
2️⃣ 23pds: North Korean hackers, Lazarus Group, utilized a fake profile of an investment company employee on LinkedIn to launch cyberattacks on #DeFi projects. Through the fake profile, hackers scout for software developers in the DeFi sector, then distribute phishing links to them. 🎣
3️⃣ Jameson Lopp: Co-founder and security director of Casa platform, Jameson Lopp, executed an attack on the #Bitcoin testnet, disrupting its normal operation. Lopp only needed 20 lines of code and $1 for electricity to disrupt the blockchain's functioning. ⚡
4️⃣ Justice: The US Department of Justice issued an indictment against investor Roger Ver, better known as "Bitcoin Jesus". He is accused, among other things, of fraud and failure to pay taxes totaling $48 million. ⚖️
5️⃣ Pike: On April 30th, attackers targeted the DeFi protocol Pike Finance and withdrew 99,970 ARB, 64,126 OP, and 479 ETH totaling approximately $1.68 million. 💸
