The metaverse is expected to become a 5 trillion business by 2030 (source: mckinseey analysis)! That's a great new for those who still holding MANA and SAND for the long term. In fact, Metaverse will be largely used by several sectors such as: gaming, education, e-commerce, banking, telecommunication and media! The metaverse will help these sectors by enhancing user engagement and creating new revenue streams. The only downside I see, it concerns the fragmentation across multiple platforms and technologies. Metaverses urge a standardization. They require common standards and protocols for virtual environments, communication and data exchange. By this way, the interoperability between different platforms and technologies will be facilitated!
