COMBO January Recap — Community Engagement, Game Launches, and More

January was a great month for us at COMBO. We started off with a community session as we hooked up with our communities to have a forward-looking discussion for the year.

We also embarked on highly rewarding community programs with our partners. Especially SecondLive with whom we collabed on two significant events. Moreover, our ecosystem’s growth got a much-needed boost with the debuts of two web3 games, zBingo and Heroes Battle Arena.

Overall, January was a month of dynamic growth and progress for the COMBO network. Below is the detailed rundown of our January activities:

I. Community Growth

1. Twitter AMA Space SessionWe kicked off 2024 with a special New Year AMA session.

2. SecondLive Super Collaboration

Twice, we collaborated with SecondLive to launch incentivized community engagement initiatives.

First, it was the staking pool program that offered up to 50,000 $LIVE tokens.

Then, the special Valentine giveaway to shower users with over $5,000 in tokens as well as other valuable assets.

3. COMBO Bounty Program for Developers

Additionally, we launched the COMBO Bounty program as we seek to attract developers to participate and have first-hand experience of the COMBO chain potential.

4. Gaming Ecosystem Expansions

On the gaming front, our ecosystem has marked some significant milestones. The zBingo game made history as the first game to launch on COMBO, and this was followed with the release of Heroes of Battle Arena on our network.

5. HavenMarket NFT Trading & DeFusion

The HavenMarket team enabled the trading of NFTs generated on the DeFusion genAI platform through the COMBO network.

We also co-hosted a giveaway with the DeFusion project. Included in the reward pool were COMBO tokens and DeFusion credits.

II. Technical Updates

  1. Transaction Record Expansion: Involves enhancing the system’s capacity to store and manage an increased volume of transaction records, ensuring scalability and improved performance.

  2. Ecosystem Project Deployment: Refers to setting up and integrating new projects within the ecosystem, establishing technical frameworks and support systems for growth and diversity.

  3. COMBO Official Website Update: Entails redesigning and updating the COMBO official website to improve user experience and provide the latest project information.

  4. Documentation Revision: Involves updating the documentation to offer clear, comprehensive, and current information for all COMBO users and stakeholders.

III. What’s Next?

For February and the months to come, here are what the web3 universe can expect from the COMBO platform:

Continued interaction with our team in open spaces through AMAs, Twitter Spaces and potentially in-game events.

Moreover, zBingo and Heroes Battle Arena are just the beginning. Users should get ready to see a diverse lineup of new game launches across various genres.

Our team would also work to deploy more tools and a robust support service to make COMBO more developer-friendly.

Lastly, we remain committed to collaborating with industry giants in blockchain, gaming and the metaverse as we work assiduously to propel COMBO to new heights.
