According to Odaily, Movement Lab has announced its support for ERC-3643 and its membership in the ERC3643 Association. This move aims to extend the ERC-3643 standard to the Movement Network, facilitating the tokenization of real-world assets. Notably, this marks the first time ERC-3643 is being expanded beyond the EVM ecosystem, addressing the market's demand for high-throughput solutions and alternative programming paradigms.

Movement Labs co-founder Cooper Scanlon emphasized that the tokenization of real-world assets is a core design principle of the Move language. He noted that an increasing number of use cases supporting ERC-3643 are being realized at the smart contract open layer level. Movement Labs' support for ERC-3643 aims to establish it as the universal on-chain gold standard for real-world assets.
