According to Odaily, Guy Wuollet, an investor at a16z Crypto, has emphasized the underestimated potential of Zero-Knowledge (ZK) technology on social media. He discussed its significant potential in cryptocurrency and developer tools. Drawing a parallel to the success of the iPhone, Wuollet pointed out that ZK technology could lead to a series of innovative applications.

Wuollet noted that the iPhone's success was due to the combination of a programmable mobile computer, GPS, and a high-quality camera, which gave birth to applications like Instagram and Uber. Similarly, ZK technology, especially zkVMs like Jolt, could bring about similar revolutionary changes. Wuollet suggested that DeFi protocols should adopt risk modeling in ZK and use more complex pricing functions.

Furthermore, blockchain and ZK proofs could enable people to have censorship-resistant AI companions and be used to prove simple machine learning models. Wuollet concluded that ZK technology could be used to build more complex DeFi protocols, censorship-resistant AI companions, or on-chain machine learning, and called on developers to pay attention to this emerging field.
