According to Foresight News, Steven Goldfeder, co-founder of OffchainLabs, has announced that a proposal for the BoLD (Bypassing on Ledger Data) verification protocol has been launched within the DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization). If the DAO members vote in favor of BoLD, it will be launched on the mainnet within a few weeks.

The BoLD verification protocol is a permissionless system, meaning that it does not require authorization from a central authority to operate. This aligns with the decentralized nature of blockchain technology, which aims to distribute power and control across a network of users rather than concentrating it in a single entity.

The launch of the BoLD protocol on the mainnet signifies a significant step forward in the development of decentralized systems. It will allow for greater transparency and security in transactions, which are key aspects of blockchain technology. The decision now lies in the hands of the DAO members, who will determine the future of the BoLD protocol through their vote.
