The world’s largest international policing agency, Interpol, has issued a “Red Notice” for Richard Schueler, also known as Richard Heart, founder of Hex. This comes amid accusations of tax evasion and physical assault against him. The Red Notice, which is a global alert to locate and provisional arrest of an individual, was sought by Finnish authorities. Although it does not amount to an international arrest warrant, it signals a serious legal issue at hand.

According to reports, Schueler is being investigated for tax evasion from June 2, 2020, to April 2, 2024. He is believed to have underreported his earnings during this period. Furthermore, there are claims that he physically assaulted a minor victim who was 16 years old when the incident occurred. These accusations were detailed in a European Most Wanted Fugitive List published recently.

Interestingly, this development follows just three months after a remand order was first issued against Schueler on September 13th, indicating that the investigation may have escalated quickly. Despite these serious allegations, Schueler appears unfazed; he continues to engage actively on social media while making statements seemingly alluding to the situation at hand.

It should be noted that Schueler is embroiled in another legal battle with US regulators over unregistered offerings of three cryptocurrencies – Hex, PulseChain (PLS), and PulseX (PSLX). The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a $1 billion lawsuit against him earlier this year but faced pushback from him when he sought to dismiss the case. Despite this setback, the SEC maintained its position, stating that it had full authority to pursue legal action against him due to alleged violations related to raising funds via unregistered securities offerings.
