According to Odaily, since October, the National Center for Public Policy Research (NCPPR), a U.S. think tank, has submitted shareholder proposals urging Microsoft and Amazon to consider investing in Bitcoin. The organization argues that such investments could protect these companies and their investors from inflation. NCPPR believes that promoting Bitcoin adoption aligns with its agenda of supporting freedom, as cryptocurrencies are largely free from government control. While Microsoft shareholders have already voted against the Bitcoin investment proposal, Amazon's stance on this strategy remains uncertain. Previously, on December 13, NCPPR suggested that Amazon include Bitcoin in its financial reserves, viewing it as a hedge against currency devaluation. However, it is still unclear whether Amazon will adopt this innovative approach.
