$XRP Army Calls for Boycott of Atomic Wallet:
Atomic Wallet recently sparked controversy by claiming that XRP would never reach $3 again. The wallet provider highlighted XRP’s significant drop from its seven-year high, noting a recent price of $2.06, down 28.22% from its peak of $2.87. Atomic Wallet even mocked XRP holders, suggesting they prepare for another seven years of downturn and vowed to delete its X account if XRP ever hits $3.
This statement has been met with strong resistance from the $XRP community. Many members, known as the XRP Army, have called for a boycott of Atomic Wallet, urging users to switch to other pro-XRP wallet services. Critics have also pointed out Atomic Wallet’s past security issues, including a multi-million-dollar hack in 2023, and accused the company of hypocrisy given its previous positive posts about XRP.
Prominent figures like Panos Mekras have gone further, suggesting Atomic Wallet should dissolve its business entirely. The controversy has intensified with some community members finding Atomic Wallet’s recent negative stance on XRP contradictory to its earlier sarcastic tweet about not selling $XRP until it hit $300.
