AI agent coins have surged in recent days, with Freya by Virtuals (FREYA) leading the charge. On Dec. 4 at 6.40 am EST, FREYA jumped 171%, reaching a price of $0.002536. This represented a 295.02% increase from its Dec. 3 low of $0.0005655, making it one of the top-performing AI agent coins, according to Coingecko data.
FREYA’s 24-hour trading volume soared to $908,176, a 463.50% increase from the previous day. Despite this impressive performance, FREYA’s market capitalization of $1.73 million ranks it at number 3,301 on Coingecko.
Agent Rogue (ROGUE) followed closely behind, gaining approximately 125% in 24 hours. However, its Dec. 4 price of $0.001125 was less than half its Nov. 29 peak of $0.0023. At the time of writing, ROGUE’s price was 167.62% higher than its all-time low.
Polytrader by Virtuals (POLY) rounded out the top three, rising 83% with a 7% increase in 24-hour trading volume. However, POLY’s current price of $0.01131 is about half its all-time high of $0.0224 reached on Nov. 29.
Meanwhile, Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET), the top AI agent coin by market capitalization, grew marginally by 0.7% in 24 hours and over 37% in seven days. According to Coingecko, the top AI agent coin’s seven-day gain, as of Dec. 4, was multiple times higher than the global cryptocurrency market’s 6.90%.
Virtuals Protocol, the next highest-ranked AI agent coin, was up by 13% and 92% in 24 hours and over seven days, respectively. Third-ranked Singularitynet could only muster a 1.2% and approximately 38% increase over similar periods.
