Blockscout, an open-source block explorer of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)- based networks, has launched its Merits Program. This program introduces a playing card-like approach to blockchain exploration in a convenient and reliable way. Hoping to make Blockchain tools more accessible, utility tokens will be rewarded to the users who learn how to navigate the skill-based APIs.

Gamified Learning Through Merits and NFT Badges

The Merits Program draws on the game concept to help users practice fundamental knowledge and skills regarding blockchain navigation. This badge applies to NFT ideas and is attainable by users in four common rarity levels. It also serves as a collectible and a form of user accomplishment. All badges have the Blockscout logo of the Capybara, representing numerous ‘on-chain scouting’ milestones.

According to Igor Barinov, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder of Blockscout, the program aims to make blockchain exploration accessible and foster a knowledgeable community around DeFi tools. “By gamifying the learning process, we’re making blockchain exploration more approachable while recognizing our community’s contributions to open-source infrastructure,” said Barinov.

The Merits Program offers users many opportunities to engage and be rewarded differently. They include daily participation rewards, academic missions, and a referential program involving other participants. The program is further envisioned to extend features for more involvement of active participants and collaborations in Web3. Blockscout aims to incentivize users to continue learning and exploring blockchain technology.

Blockscout Supporting Growth Across EVM Networks

Blockscout’s program reflects a vision for an open, transparent, and accessible blockchain ecosystem. The Merits Program is expected to expand, potentially offering exclusive access to advanced features for highly active participants. Blockscout is advancing its mission of fostering a decentralized, user-driven infrastructure by nurturing a knowledgeable community.

The Merits Program launch aligns with Blockscout’s ongoing expansion. As the default block explorer for several prominent Rollup-as-a-Service providers, including Alchemy and Conduit, Blockscout is strengthening its role within the ecosystem. Recent collaborations with major networks such as Uniswap’s Unichain and Sony’s Soneium reflect Blockscout’s expanding reach.

Following a $3 million seed funding round, the platform remains focused on providing top-tier open-source exploration tools to more than 1,000 EVM networks, emphasizing blockchain accessibility and user engagement across DeFi and Web3 spaces.
