Moonveil, a pioneer in Web3 gaming studio, has revealed the forthcoming release of its Layer-2 Chain testnet, designed to offer a superior gaming experience. Powered by Polygon CDK and AggLayer, this launch will be a new milestone for Moonveil in developing a scalable gamer-first ecosystem.

Moonveil Harnessing Polygon CDK and AggLayer

The Layer-2 Chain testnet is powered by the zk-based Polygon CDK, which brings scalability and enhanced security through modularization. By distributing functions like transactions and oracles across different layers, the testnet promises reduced operational costs and increased performance, a significant benefit for game developers and users.

Moonveil’s modular approach enables developers to test and integrate new features without impacting the entire system. This streamlined process is crucial for fast-iterating game products, ensuring that new technology can be introduced smoothly while maintaining system efficiency and performance. Moonveil’s CEO and Co-Founder also shared his remarks on this new upcoming launch of L2 Chain Testnet, stating,

“Moonveil is excited to announce the upcoming launch of our Layer 2 Chain testnet, a key step toward revolutionizing gaming with unmatched scalability and performance. Powered by Polygon CDK and AggLayer, this chain offers a fast, secure, and customizable solution for developers and gamers alike.”

The Chain testnet utilizes Polygon’s zkEVM and STARK technology to reduce transaction costs and gas fees, making the gaming experience seamless. With fast finality and frequent validity proofs, Moonveil’s solution ensures rapid, secure transactions benefitting developers and gamers.

Enhancing Interoperability and Community Engagement in Web3 Gaming

AggLayer, co-developed with Polygon Labs, provides unified cross-chain liquidity and smooth interoperability between game products. By using $MORE tokens for gas fees, Moonveil eliminates mismatches between gas tokens and in-game tokens, simplifying user onboarding and enhancing the player experience.

Alongside the testnet launch, Moonveil plans to release Flaming Pets, an on-chain multiplayer game set in a world of enchanted castles. This game will be crucial for testing the new Layer-2 Chain technology. Moonveil will also begin node sales, allowing the community to participate actively in the ecosystem’s growth.

Founded in 2022, Moonveil has already raised $9 million from prominent investors, including Spartan Group, Animoca Ventures, and Hivemind. The team, known for their experience at Riot Games, Funplus, and other top gaming companies, aims to push the boundaries of web3 gaming with this new development.
