According to Foresight News, A16Z Games will hold the Speedrun 004 accelerator event in San Francisco from January 6 to March 23, 2025. Andrew Chen, General Partner at A16Z Games, announced that the company plans to invest $30 million over the next 30 days. Starting in January 2025, Chen, along with members of the A16Z Speedrun team, will co-host the new accelerator program in San Francisco. The program will feature guest speakers, personalized mentorship, and substantial financial support. Applications for the program are now open, with a deadline of September 30.

A16Z focuses on early-stage startups, including B2B and infrastructure startups in AI, 3D, and game engines, as well as game studios specializing in Web3, VR, AI, and Discord. Each selected startup will receive an investment of $750,000 and participate in a 12-week course that includes in-person lectures, office hours, personalized mentorship, and events.
