**Just In 🚨**: A Kenyan special committee investigating WorldCoin has labeled its activities as espionage and a national threat. WorldCoin conducted iris scanning at 30 locations in Nairobi, including shopping malls, since May 2021. Kenya's special committee is calling for investigations into WorldCoin-related companies, Tools for Humanity (TFH) Corp and Tools for Humanity (TFH) GmbH, suspecting illegal operations as neither is registered as a corporation in Kenya. It was also discovered that Worldcoin applied for data controller registration in August 2022, a year after commencing operations in Kenya, violating the 2019 Data Protection Act.
