🟪Internet Identity Stats
Today, although there is a drop on the new Identity count, the IC was able to onboard around 276 entities within the last 24 hours.
🟪Canister Stats
Interestingly, Devs on the IC collectively fueled up a staggering 780 canisters on the IC, as they cook harder to make the most robust infrastructure on the industry, a better place for its users.
Btw, if you are new here, canisters are the native smart contracts on the IC, which are tamperproof and secured by threshold ECDSA cryptography.

🟪Burned ICP Stats
Today, there was sudden spike on the ICP burning process, which was resulted by burning 677 ICP within a single day🤯
Likely this was due to the new canisters that were activated today, as we discussed previously.
Although each TX on the IC burns a small portion of the ICP transacted, that is negligible considering the scalability of the blockchain., and most of these burns occur due to the conversion of ICP into cycles, which is similar to fuel that are used to power up canister smart contracts, so users have gasless user experience.

Neurons continue to soar, as the total count nears 307.8K.
Today, around 311 neurons were fueled up by ICPeople across the globe to help secure the consensus algorithm of the IC, Proof Of Useful Work.
