What to Do | Close or Hold Your Crypto Trade? Don't Ask Again 🫷

Good Morning Everyone 🌅 After a small break from crypto I'm back to work.. 🥳.

When I open Binance, I often see posts from traders asking, "Should I close or hold?" It’s a common dilemma, It’s something every trader faces, especially when the market isn’t moving as expected. Here’s a clear and simple approach to help you decide what to do next from my 5 years experience.

1. Understand Your Position

Start by looking at your current trade. Are you in profit, or are you facing a loss? It’s essential to know where you stand before making any decisions.

2. Check the Market Conditions

Markets can change direction quickly. If the market is moving against your trade, it might be safer to close and take a smaller loss rather than waiting for things to get worse. On the other hand, if you see potential for a rebound, holding might be worth it.

Keep mind if you loss small amount you have your capital so you can recover but if you loss your capital i mean liquidate you can't again !!

3. Set Your Targets

Always enter a trade with a clear plan. Know your profit targets and stop-loss levels. If you’ve reached your stop-loss, it’s time to close the trade. If you’re near your profit target and the market looks shaky, securing your gains could be the smart move.

4. Use Technical Analysis

Technical indicators like Moving Averages (MA) and Relative Strength Index (RSI) can help you gauge the market trend. If the price is dropping below the moving average, closing might be the better option. However, if the price is stable above key support levels, holding could pay off.

5. Stay Emotion-Free

Trading based on emotions is risky. Panic can lead to bad decisions. Stick to your strategy and base your actions on analysis, not fear or greed.

6. Trust Your Decision

While advice can be helpful, the final decision should come from your own understanding. Trust your instincts and the information you’ve gathered.
