According to Odaily, American mining company CleanSpark has become the second-largest mining company by market capitalization following its acquisition of Riot Platforms. The company is continuing its expansion efforts by constructing a new facility in Cheyenne, Wyoming, which is expected to be operational by the end of the year. Additionally, CleanSpark is in the process of acquiring a second mining site in Wyoming and plans to expand into Tennessee through the acquisition of GRIID Infrastructure. CleanSpark has secured a 75-megawatt power contract in Wyoming, with 30 megawatts allocated for operating S21 immersion XP application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) at the planned facility. This expansion is projected to increase the company's hash rate by 2 exahashes per second (EH/s). CleanSpark is also seeking additional power sources for the new facility.
