EA Sports released the game’s official trailer on YouTube on July 17th, which has received almost 5 million views so far. The trailer featured players like Phil Foden, Vinicius Junior, and Ballon d’Or winner Aitana Bonmati.
The gameplay will feature over 19,000 licensed players from various teams in different regions. England and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham is EA FC 25’s cover star. The midfielder inherited the title from Erling Haaland, who was previously EA FC 24’s cover star. The promotional image of Jude Bellingham features the midfielder performing his iconic wide-arm celebration in his Real Madrid kit.
EA FC 25 release scheduled for September
The game is scheduled to debut later this year, on September 27th. EA FC 25 will be available on various gaming devices from Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation. Unlike other games that abandon last-generation gaming consoles, EA still intends to maximize its reach by making the game available on various consoles, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Gamers who pre-order the game before August will receive in-game pre-order bonuses for their early participation. These bonuses include five icon players for the game’s career mode (Ronaldo Nazário, Galácticos Beckham, Gianluigi Buffon, Aitana Bonmati, and Zidane) alongside one of the football stars featured on the game’s cover, valid for ten matches.
Early birds will also get a star youth scout, a five-star coach for hire in the manager career, personality points in player career mode, and an additional 250,000 club coins to spend. The bonuses will also involve unlocked playstyle slots in clubs. Pre-orders will unlock an early access period of seven days.
Ultimate Edition players get a 7-day head start
While the game launches on September 27th, Ultimate Edition buyers who chip in an extra $30 will access the game as early as September 20th, a week earlier than everybody else ordering the standard edition or those waiting for the game’s official release. The standard edition will cost players $69.99, and the Ultimate Edition will retail at $99.99.
EA FC 25 will feature more changes to its manager and player career modes. The game will receive weekly updates corresponding to real-life applications associated with the 2024–25 season.
The updates will include results, standings, and fixtures. The game is also set to feature 300+ clubs in various leagues and cup competitions, such as La Liga, UEFA Champions League, Serie A, Bundesliga, FA Cup, Coppa Italia, Women’s Champions League, and so much more.
