The Saudi oil giant has reported a net profit of 120.13 billion riyals ($32.5bn) in the first three months of 2026, a 25.5 percent increase over the 95.68 billion riyals ($25.4bn) recorded in the same period last year.

Sales climbed to $114.9bn, up from $107.6bn a year ago, and the company reported $30.7bn in cash flow.

The improved financial performance has been mainly credited to higher sales while the East-West Crude Oil Pipeline, which circumvents the Strait of Hormuz by running to the Red Sea, has reached its full capacity.

“Our East-West Pipeline, which reached its maximum capacity of 7.0 million barrels of oil per day, has proven itself to be a critical supply artery, helping to mitigate the impact of a global energy shock and providing relief to customers affected by shipping constraints in the Strait of Hormuz,” Aramco CEO Amin Nasser said in a statement.

“Recent events have clearly demonstrated the vital contribution of oil and gas to energy security and the global economy, and are a stark reminder that reliable energy supply is critical.”

It added that Qatar stressed the need for all parties to engage with mediation efforts, warning that a sustainable solution depends on dialogue and addressing the “root causes of the crisis”.
