Bitcoin (BTC) Crashes, Altcoins Plunge
Crypto Prices Today: The cryptocurrency market experienced a bloodbath on Wednesday, with Bitcoin (BTC) falling below the 97K level, marking a sharp decline from $102K to $97K.
The crash in crypto prices today was attributed to a significant rise in U.S. Treasury yields over the past decade.
Additionally, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) released a report showing the December Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) for the private sector reached 54.1, up from November’s 52.1, adding to market volatility.
Major altcoins also witnessed sharp declines, with most falling by 5% to 10% in the past 24 hours. Meme coins faced similar pressure, as Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) dropped by 8% to 10% within the same timeframe.
The global crypto market fell approximately 6%, now standing at $3.38 trillion. However, trading volume surged by 27%, reaching $162 billion as investors reacted to the market downturn.

Theo dự thảo, tài sản ảo được xác định là một loại tài sản số dùng để giao dịch, chuyển giao, hoặc sử dụng trong thanh toán và đầu tư. Tuy nhiên, tài sản ảo không bao gồm chứng khoán, tiền pháp định dạng số, hoặc các tài sản tài chính khác theo quy định hiện hành.
Bên cạnh đó, tài sản mã hóa được định nghĩa là các tài sản số được tạo ra, phát hành, lưu trữ, và xác thực thông qua công nghệ chuỗi khối (blockchain), sổ cái phân tán, hoặc các công nghệ số tương tự. Điều này đồng nghĩa với việc các loại tiền mã hóa như Bitcoin, Ethereum và các đồng coin khác sẽ thuộc danh mục tài sản mã hóa.
Việc phân loại tài sản mã hóa là bước tiến quan trọng, giúp tạo ra cơ sở pháp lý rõ ràng để quản lý và phát triển thị trường tiền mã hóa tại Việt Nam, đồng thời mở ra cơ hội cho các nhà đầu tư và doanh nghiệp trong lĩnh vực blockchain.

Với định hướng mới này, ngành công nghiệp công nghệ số và tiền mã hóa tại Việt Nam đang đứng trước cơ hội lớn, nhưng cũng sẽ đối mặt với các quy định chặt chẽ hơn nhằm đảm bảo tính minh bạch và an toàn tài chính.
