1. What is the Margin Special API Key?

The Margin Special API Key is designed for margin trading, offering low-latency connectivity similar to spot trading. It allows traders to efficiently utilize their assets on Binance Margin.

2. Who can access the Margin Special API Key?

  • For VIP 4 and above:
    The Margin Special API Key is available to VIP 4 and above users who aren’t residing in margin trading-restricted countries or regions.
  • For VIP 3 and below:
    If you are a VIP 3 or lower tier user and qualify as a market maker, high-frequency trader, or high volume trader, please contact your VIP Manager for potential access.

3. How to create a Margin Special API Key?

If you meet the above requirements, please contact your VIP Manager to learn more about creating a Margin Special API Key.

4. What happens if I move to a country where margin trading is restricted?

Your access to the Margin Special API Key will be revoked.

5. How can I borrow assets on margin using a Margin Special API Key?

You can only use the Margin Special API Key to place orders. For margin borrowings, please utilize the standard API key.

6. Which endpoints are compatible with the Margin Special API Key?

The Margin Special API Key is only applicable with “/api” endpoints. It is strongly recommended not to use this key for “/sapi” endpoints.

7. Will my Margin Special API Key be deleted?

Your Margin Special API Key will remain active even if it is not used, as we have discontinued the practice of deleting non-IP keys after 30 days of inactivity.

8. How many Margin Special API Keys can I own?

You can create up to 30 API keys per Binance account, including both normal and special keys.
