Binance Card Security Tips

Note: Binance Card services in EEA will close on 20 December 2023. Binance accounts are unaffected and continue to operate as usual.

1. How do I change the PIN?

Once you receive your PIN, please go to an ATM that accepts Visa and follow the below instructions to change your PIN:

1.1 Insert your Binance Card into the ATM and enter your existing PIN.

1.2 Follow the prompts shown on the screen to create a new PIN.

Your new PIN can be used immediately.

2. Will I be able to change my PIN via the Binance App?
This feature is currently not available. You need to visit an ATM that accepts Visa to change your PIN.

3. How do I freeze my Binance Card?

You may temporarily freeze your Binance Card to prevent new charges from being approved from the Binance Card Dashboard.

(1) Log in to your Binance.com account and go to the Card Dashboard.

(2) You will see a [Manage Card] button on the Card dashboard. Click [Freeze] and your card will be frozen. Please note that your card will automatically decline every transaction until you unfreeze your card.

4. How do I unfreeze my Binance Card?

To unfreeze your Binance Card, please follow these instructions:

(1) Log in to your Binance.com account and go to the Card Dashboard.

(2) You will see a [Manage Card] button on the Card dashboard. Click [Unfreeze]. Enter your 2FA verification code and your card will be unlocked.

5. How can I report if my physical card was lost or stolen?

If your physical Binance Card was lost or stolen, please follow these instructions to report:

1. Click [Manage Card] on the Card Dashboard. Click [Report Lost or Stolen].

2. You’ll be prompted to [Terminate Now]. If you cannot find your card and wish to terminate it permanently, click [Terminate Now] and enter your 2FA verification codes to confirm.

3. Your Binance Card will be terminated and can no longer be used. Any further transactions will be declined automatically. Please note that this action is irreversible.

4. You may order a new Binance Card by clicking [Reorder Card] on the pop-up window or from the Card Dashboard. Ordering a new card will cost 25 EUR.

6. How can I terminate my physical Binance Card?

To terminate your physical Binance Card, please follow these instructions:

(1) Follow the instructions above to freeze your Binance Card.

(2) Click [Terminate] and confirm with your 2FA verification code. Your Binance Card will be terminated and can no longer be used.

(3) If you wish to order a new Binance Card, click [Order New Card].

7. Important notes

(1) Never share your full card details with anyone, even with Binance Customer Support agents. In case we need to verify your identity, we would only ask for the last 4 digits of your card, but not your card number, CVV code, or expiry date.

(2) We recommend you avoid using your card on suspicious websites.

(3) Please freeze your Binance Card immediately if you notice any suspicious activities on your card.

(4) Please terminate your card immediately if you think your card is compromised. You can order a new card afterward.
