Contest Details

1. Can I submit more than one design for the contest?

No, each participant can submit only one unique design for the Helmet Design Contest. Make sure to put your best creative foot forward!

2. What format should my design be in for submission?

Please upload your design as a high-resolution image format such as PDF, JPG, PNG, or SVG. Ensure your design adheres to the guidelines provided in the design template.

3. How will the winners be selected?

Ten shortlisted designs will be chosen by the Binance team based on creativity and other conditions including:

  • Originality and Creativity
  • Relevance to Theme (Entries that effectively capture the essence of the Formula 1 racing spirit and align with the Australian Grand Prix theme will be favorably considered)
  • Placement and integration of the Helmet Sponsor logo
  • Technical Execution
  • Aesthetic Appeal
  • Reflecting Binance's Values.

The full list of judging criteria is stated in the Terms and Conditions. The final winner will be selected by Pierre Gasly.

4. What is the prize for the winner?

The grand prize winner will have their design featured on Pierre Gasly's helmet during the 2025 Australian Grand Prix. In addition, the winning designer will receive a signed helmet and attend the Grand Prix closest to their location with a plus one (race day access only, excluding flights and accommodation), alongside a virtual Meet & Greet with Pierre Gasly.

5. What is the judging criteria for the winning design?

At the heart of our Helmet Design Contest lies a commitment to creativity and excellence. To ensure a fair evaluation, we've outlined clear criteria and a meticulous selection process.

Your design will be assessed against the standards stated below:

  • Originality and Creativity
  • Relevance to Theme (Entries that effectively capture the essence of the Formula 1 racing spirit and align with the Australian Grand Prix theme will be favorably considered)
  • Helmet Sponsor Logo Placement
  • Technical Execution
  • Aesthetic Appeal
  • Reflecting Binance's Values.

6. Can I withdraw my design from the contest after submission?

Yes, you can withdraw your design after submission. You can do this by contacting Binance's customer support, who will forward your request to the relevant Binance team. Please note that after you submit, modifications/revisions cannot be made, so be sure to thoroughly review your entry before submitting it.

Contest Eligibility & Ownership

1. Who can participate in the Helmet Design Contest?

The contest is open to all eligible Binance users outlined in the competition’s Terms & Conditions. The submission period for the contest is from 2025-01-08 00:00:00 (UTC) to 2025-01-20 23:59:59 (UTC). Make sure to submit your design within this timeframe if you wish to be considered for the competition.

2. Do I need to be a Binance user to participate?

Yes, to enter the contest, you must be a verified Binance user. If you are not yet a user, you can sign up for a Binance account here.

3. Can I collaborate with someone else on a design?

Yes, collaborations are allowed, which can be a fantastic way to combine creative forces and generate unique designs. However, please keep in mind that the primary entrant submitting the design must have a verified Binance account and meet all the eligibility criteria to participate in the contest.

Additionally, the primary entrant will be the main point of contact and will be responsible for ensuring that all submission requirements are met accurately. If the design is chosen as a winner, the primary entrant will be the one to receive the prizes and recognition associated with the contest.

4. Will I retain ownership of my design if I win?

By participating in the Contest, authorship remains with the participant, but the participant acknowledges and agrees that Binance, Pierre Gasly, BWT Alpine F1 Team, Formula 1, and BWT have an unrestricted, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, and sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, apply, reformat, modify, adapt, publish, display, broadcast, screen, distribute, communicate, exploit, and commercialize the entry in whole or in part for any purpose at any time in any media format and any media channels, without any further payment or compensation to the participant.

Participants agree that any use of their design outside of the Contest is limited to personal, non-commercial purposes. Participants shall not use, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise exploit the design for any commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Binance.

Participants also agree to maintain the confidentiality of their design and any related materials until the official reveal by Binance. Participants shall not disclose, share, or reveal any part of their design to any third party or public forum prior to the official announcement by Binance. Any breach of this confidentiality obligation may result in disqualification from the Contest.

5. How will my personal data be used during the contest?

All participants' personal data will be collected and processed in accordance with Binance's privacy policy here.

6. Can I share my design on social media?

Absolutely! All entrants are encouraged to share their designs on social media. Please ensure you tag @Binance and use the hashtag #GASLYxBinance.
