On Binance, the average cost refers to the average market price of the crypto when it increases in your wallets. It takes into account your deposit, fiat, P2P, Pay, Convert, Spot, Futures, Margin, Strategy, Copy Trading, Gift Card, and Launchpad data that has been collected since August 1, 2021 to calculate.
Please note that the average cost feature is currently limited to selected users only. It will be available to all users soon, stay tuned.

How are average costs calculated?

Average Cost = Market Price (Average Market Price when the Asset Increased in Amount) * Increased Amount / Sum of the Increased Amount
Note:
  • Average cost will be recalculated when the asset amount increases.

4. To use another fiat currency to calculate your average cost, go to [Account Center]. Tap the settings icon and choose [Currency]. Select your preferred fiat currency here.
5. Please note that if you overwrite the average cost data with your own data, the previous average cost data will be deleted and cannot be restored. To proceed, tap [Confirm].
