How to Complete the BOB Task in the BOB Campaign on Binance Web3 Wallet?

Complete all four tasks in the BOB campaign, including this BOB task, to share a reward pool of $300,000 worth of BOB tokens, divided equally among all eligible participants.

Prerequisites

To complete this task, you’ll need:

• At least 0.0001 BTC in any wallet on the Bitcoin network;
• A Binance Web3 MPC Wallet (no prior experience with EVM chains needed); and
• For gas, you can either use the ETH in your Binance Wallet, or BOB Bridge can automatically convert a small amount of your BTC into ETH for you during the bridging transaction.

Note: To complete the remaining tasks of this campaign, you need to bridge at least an additional 0.00025 BTC and have a sufficient balance of ETH for gas fees.

How to bridge BTC from the BTC mainnet to wBTC on the BOB Chain via BOB Bridge?

Step 1: Connect your Binance Web3 Wallet to BOB

1. Log in to your Binance app and go to the activity page.

2. Tap [Join Now] to confirm your participation.

3. Tap on the BOB task and you’ll be redirected to the BOB website.

4. Tap [Connect Wallet].

5. Tap [Connect your EVM Wallet (Mandatory)].

6. Choose [Binance Web3 Wallet].

7. Tap [Connect your Bitcoin Wallet (Optional)].

8. Choose the wallet that holds your BTC, e.g., your Binance Web3 Wallet.

9. You’ll see this screen after connecting your EVM and BTC wallets.

Step 2: Bridge assets

10. Change networks by tapping [Ethereum].

11. Choose [Bitcoin].

12. Enter the amount of BTC to bridge. The minimum required amount is 0.0001 BTC.

13. Tap [Bridge Asset].

14. Wait for the bridging to complete.

15. Tap [Confirm]. Please make sure you have a sufficient balance on BOB Chain to pay for the gas fees.

16. Scroll down to the [Activity] section to view the progress of your transaction.

17. After several block confirmations, your BTC will be finalized on the BOB Chain. You can verify the bridging under the [Activity] section on the right, or by checking your WBTC balance on BOB Chain.
