Fellow Binancians,
Binance will suspend the “Market Order - Total” feature for selected Spot and Margin trading pairs at 2023-05-07 09:00 (UTC) until further notice. After the update, users will not be able to access the “Total” and “Slider for Amount Customization” features when placing market orders. Users may still choose to input “Market Order - Amount” manually to place market orders.
API users can query via api/v3/exchangeInfo. When it returns with "quoteOrderQtyMarketAllowed:False", it means that the Market Order - Total feature is suspended for the trading pair.
The Market Order - Total feature for the following trading pairs on the Spot, Isolated Margin and Cross Margin markets will be suspended (where applicable):
Notes:
Impacted markets: Spot, Isolated Margin and Cross Margin markets of the aforementioned trading pairs (where applicable);
The feature will be suspended on Binance Web, App, Electron and API;
The “Total” and “Slider for Amount Customization” features will be suspended when users place market order for the aforementioned Spot and Margin trading pairs. Users will receive the "Quote order qty market orders are not supported for this symbol" prompt when accessing “Total” and “Slider for Amount Customization” features. Please refer to the highlighted sections in the screenshot below for details;
Where any discrepancy arises between the translated versions and the original English version, the English version shall prevail.
