Fellow Binancians,
Binance will perform a conversion of any remaining New Bitshares (NBS) balances to USDT based on users’ NBS holdings in their Binance wallets at the snapshot time of 2023-09-09 00:00 (UTC).
Binance will then replace all New Bitshares (NBS) token balances in users’ Binance wallets with an equivalent amount of USDT by 2023-12-08 23:59 (UTC). The conversion will be executed on the basis of the average NBS/USDT exchange rate between 2023-09-09 00:00 (UTC) and 2023-12-08 23:59 (UTC) (hereinafter referred to as “Conversion Period”).
A separate announcement will be made when the conversion of New Bitshares (NBS) tokens to USDT of all affected users is complete. More information on the average NBS/USDT exchange rate during the Conversion Period will be provided then. We expect to provide such information at the end of the Conversion Period with another announcement.
Please note:
All users who hold New Bitshares (NBS) tokens in any of their Binance wallets will receive an email notification by 2023-08-25 23:59 (UTC).
Deposits of New Bitshares (NBS) tokens will not be credited to users’ accounts.
Withdrawals of New Bitshares (NBS) tokens from Binance will be supported until 2023-09-09 00:00 (UTC), subject to network conditions and availability. After this date, withdrawals of New Bitshares (NBS) tokens will no longer be supported, and users will not be able to transfer any remaining New Bitshares (NBS) tokens from their Binance accounts to any external wallets.
The conversion of remaining New Bitshares (NBS) tokens to USDT held by users on any Binance wallets will be completed by 2023-12-08 23:59 (UTC). During the Conversion Period, users will not be able to view their New Bitshares (NBS) token balances in their Binance wallets.
Where any discrepancy arises between the translated versions and the original English version of this notice as provided on https://www.binance.com, the English version shall prevail.
